Services Australia Access Point
Access via a dedicated phone and computer to My Gov and associated services such as Centrelink and Medicare.
It is located in a private area of the RTC.
You can connect to government services using the free Services Australia Wi-Fi service on your own device if preferred. (No password required)
Documents can be verified by our morning duty officer from
9am to 1pm week days.
Services Australia brochures are available providing information on the many services offered.

Community Bus
The bus makes weekly trips to Maryborough and Castlemaine, and is available for hire.

Local Councillor
Matt Driscoll is our local councillor. He holds a listening post at the RTC on the first Thursday of each month between 10.00am and 12.00pm.

You can book use of the community centre at the RTC or online at

Newstead Live Music Festival
Newstead Live Music Festival is held each year in January, the weekend before school goes back.
You can book tickets to the festival by visiting the Newstead Live web site.
The RTC opens during the Newstead Live weekend and has a book sale and an op shop sale.
